After an year from his grave road accident near Calicut University, senior star of Mollywood Jagathy Sreekumar returned to his home at the Capital city yesterday. He was having treatment at the Christian Medical College at Vellore for the last ten months. The actor is said to be in a better condition, now able to move in a wheel char , walk little distances with the help of a by stander and to identify people. He will now undergo ayurvedic treatment to recover completely and to get his speaking abilities back.The actor has been advised physiotherapy and will get back to Vellore after a couple of months.

The actor was taken back from hospital in a caravan owned by Kalabhavan Mani, where he had a serious watch of a few films amidst his 18 hour journey. Jagathy's immediate family members and son in law Shaun accompanied the actor to his son Rajkumar's apartment.
The comedian was seriously injured in a road accident March 10, 2012, near Kozhikode in Kerala while he was hurrying in the wee hours to reach a shooting location of location of the film 'Edavapathy' on the Kerala-Karnataka border.
On account of the injury suffered, his right hand and right leg were immobilised. After undergoing four major surgeries, he was transferred in an air ambulance from Kozhikode to the Christian Medical College by April, where he was given various therapies..
The most popular comedian of Mollywood, who started his filmy career in the early 1970s, has donned the greasepaint for around 1,200 films till now.
