Director Sugeeth who has been able to churn out two hits with Kunchakko Boban- Biju menon combo will soon team up with Jayaram .This will be or his new movie titled  'Onnum Mindathe' which was originally planned with  Biju Menon and Kavya Madhavan. It is learned that Biju Menon had some date problems which forced the makers to replace him with Jayaram. Onnum Mindathe is said to be a family entertainer set in a village as the backdrop.

It is learned that a multilingual project is in the cards with Mammootty and Nana Patekar joining for the first time in the cast lists. This movie to be made in Tamil , Malayalam and Hindi . the movie to to be made by an young director will be on sets only by 2014. The cast lists, crew and other actors of the film are yet to be announced.

Meanwhile , Mammootty is currently intertwined with the controversial solar case, as its lead  convict Saritha Nair has revealed that their firm has given an award carrying a trophy and a few lakhs  to Megastar  in a private award function hosted by the firm. Apart from Mammootty, a few other filmy celebrities and politicians also attended this function. It is learned that more about these allegations will found clarifications in the coming days.

Popular actor Indrajith has already proved his calibre as an able playback singer. He has already sang for films like 'Mullavalliyum Thenmaavum', Nayakan' and 'Happy Husbands'.

The talented actor will soon get a chance to croon with the most popular playback singer of the current generation Shreya Ghoshal. This will be for the new movie 'Arikil Oraal' directed by Sunil Ibrahim, which have him and Nivin Ploy in the lead. The movie will be a take on the life of five youngsters who treats their  life as a celebration. Remya Nambeeshan, Lena and Prathap Pothen are also in the cast lines.

Ace director Ranjith has completed his works on the new film 'Kadal Kadannoru Mathukutty'. The movie which will have Mammootty together with Ranjith is expected to repeat the succes of their previous film 'Pranchiyettan and the Saint'.

Scripted by the director, the movie will have Mammootty in the title character as an NRI who moved on to Germany after marrying a nurse. The movie chronicles the days when he is sent back to Kottayam  by the German malayalees to accomplish a special task.Alisha and Muthumani are the heroines of this movie which will also feature Mohanlal and Dileep in guest roles. The release date of the movie is yet to be announced.

After that average earner in 'Ladies and Gentleman', director Siddhique will  soon team up with Mammoottty for a new project. The director who is busy with some remakes of his Malayalam films in Hindi, including that of 'Vietnam Colony'  has already talked with Mammootty about a plot that was given green signal by the megastar.

The duo will sit together soon to discuss more about the project. The  two earlier films that had Mammootty and SIddhique together 'Hitler' and "Chronic Bachelor' were runaway hits . The director will be trying not to repeat the mistakes of his latest Malayalam film in his new project with Mammootty, thus trying to make a hatrick win, out of the combination.

Vetrimarana is one of the most acclaimed director of Tamil .And by reading this title you may think  about Mohanlal being signed up by the director for a project. But we are not spilling beans about any such project.

The buzz is that Mohanlal's Malayalam movie 'Karmayodhha' which was in the theaters last Onam will be soon seen in Tamil in the title 'Vetrimaaran'.The movie has Lal as an encounter specialist named Mad Maddy,whose daughter gets kidnapped by sex traffickers. Directed by Major Ravi, the movie will be on theatres in Tamil nadu soon.

Director Jose Thomas has tentatively titled his new movie with Dileep as 'Singaravelan'. Coming after the last year's  big hit of the team 'Mayamohini', the shoot for the film has   started last week at Ottapalam.

Scripted by Sibi K Thomas-Udhay Krishna, the movie has a plot about the community of  weavers. Told in a humorous way, Dileep appear as an young man who doesn't want to stick to his community's job. Tamil actress Vedhika of Paradesi fame is playing Dileep's heroine.Singaravelan will be  Dileep's big Onam release in September.

Interestingly, director Deepan had earlier announced a movie with similar title two year's ago with young star Prithviraj, which was later abandoned..
