Yes, Nirav shoots Ilayathalapathy - 'Thalaivaa' is certainly a big time visual treat. Cinematographer Nirav Shah has been the toughest pillar for all of AL Vijay's projects, right from 'Kireedom', excepting only 'Poi Solla Poram'. Can we forget how satiating the visual treat was in Ilayathalapathy's 'Pokkiri'? Thanks to Nirav Shah who is known for his lighting sense; and in this flick, he has adopted different lighting and colour scheme to go with each different theme setting. The team has recently screened a couple of songs in grandeur of Nirav. Fight sequence shot on the busy roads of Mumbai have also come out well. The team will be packing off to a foreign country by March.

VIJAY YESUDAS TURNS AS A COMPOSER

After making a mark as a dependable singer who delivers hits, Vijay Yesudas will shortly turn a music composer. He will be donning the music department of  the movie 'Arabian Safari'  which will be directed by Sanjeev Sivan.

Vijay yesudas has a fine time in singing and opened with  two chart toppers in 2013.He has got two hits in  A.R. Rahman musical Kadal - 'Chithirai Nela...' and 'Chitti Jaabili'.He had an eventful  last year in Mollwyood with an acting assignment in 'Avan' and few good songs in Grandmaster, Ee Adutha Kalathu, Spirit, Run Baby Run, and Thappana.,

Though he has had his initial discussions on music composing,  Vijay Yesudas once again makes it clear that his primary priority is singing and will continue to croon fine songs whenever he gets an opportunity and the music directors keep faith on him. .

Director Thomas Sebastian who is geared up for his second movie in the  title 'Santa Claus' has made it clear that he will not be having Megastar Mammootty doing a character in the movie. The movie will have a rare pair of  Biju Menon and Pratap Pothen combination in the lead. The movie to be shot entirely in Dubai, will be scripted by Nishad Koya who had earlier penned 'Ordinary' and 'Friday'. Thomas Sebastian will be starting the shoot only by August, so that they can release this movie in December.

Before 'Santa Claus' , the scriptwriter and director will be joining together for another that will kick start by June.

It seems to be the time of experiments in Mollywood. Adding to the lot from younger generations  who are constantly experimenting with their narratives and presentations, it's now the turn of Ranjan Pramod who is making  a comeback to Mollywood after a gap of six years. His comeback film 'Rose guitarinaal' will have a single shot song with no cuts.The song 'Chutti Varum Katte' from the movie will be the first Malayalam song taken in a single shot with no cuts, according to the scriptwriter-turned-director.

Rose Guitarinal", a musical romantic saga produced by Varnachithra Subair  , to be released later this month, features eight songs from Shahbaaz Aman  and a whole array of new faces on the screen and off the screen.

REENU MATHEW WITH DULQUER

Actress Reenu Mathews who made her entry through Lal Jose's 'Immanuel' is next going to team up with Dulquer. Reenu who has paired with megastar Mammootty in 'Immanuel' will be the lady love of Dulquer in the new flick.

Reenu will be the heroine in Amal Neerad's new film which is part of the anthology 'Anju Sundarikal' which includes five stories by five directors - Amal Neerad, Ashiq Abu, Anwar Rashid, Samir Thahir, and Shyju Khalid.

The film which is based on a Chinese short story will have Reenu sharing screen space with Dulquer Salman. New face Jinu Ben is also doing a prominent role. 'Anju Sundarikal' is expected to hit theatres by the end of this year.

ANOOP MENON'S SCRIPT FOR NIVIN PAULY

It is rumored that Anoop Menon will script a new project which will have Nivin Pauly in the lead role. The film titled '1983' is centered on cricket. The film will also have Anoop Menon as a cricket coach.

The year 1983 is a memorable year in the history of Indian cricket as India won the first World Cup. This film which is based on cricket is directed by professional photographer Abrid Shine. 

This will be for the first time that Anoop Menon is penning a script without Jayasurya in the main role.

TABU IN MALAYALAM

TABU IN MALAYALAM

Bollywood actress Tabu is making her appearance once again in Malayalam. After her role in 'Kalapani' opposite Mohanlal, Tabu was always loved by the Malayalees.

She also acted in the Malayalam film 'Cover Story' and has done a cameo role in a song sequence in 'Urumi'.

It is heard that she will be doing a full length role in Aji John's 'Angry Birds' which will be a multi-starrer movie. The film also casts Rima Kallingal, Bhavana, and Mamta Mohandas as female leads. 

Scripted by Anoop Menon, 'Angry Birds' will start rolling after 'Hotel California'. 

DILEEP IN MARYADARAMAN

DILEEP IN MARYADARAMAN

Dileep' next film is the remake of S S Rajamauli's Telugu hit movie 'Maryada Ramanna' which was an adaptation of the 1923 Hollywood silent movie 'Our Hospitality'.

The film has already been remade in Kannada and Bengali and recently in Hindi with the title 'Son of Sardar' with Ajay Devgan in the lead role. 

G N Krishnakumar will direct the Malayalam version. Siby-Udaykrishna team will pen the script for the Malayalam remake which is expected to go on floors by mid 2013.
